| Completion of Coil Center in Thailand |

Power-on Ceremony took place on July14, 2005 at HANWA STEEL SERVICE (THAILAND)
CO., LTD. (called “HSST”) being sited at Amata Nakorn Industrial Complex in Chonburi, Thailand.
This HSST is constructed as a coil center solely owned by Hanwa group –Shares being held by Hanwa
Co., Ltd., Hanwa Co., (Hong Kong) Ltd. and Hanwa Thailand Co., Ltd. 30%, 30% and 40% respectively -to serve
with finely tuned response to our users’ various request from home appliances and automotive industries
in Thailand.
This new plant processes monthly 5,000MT and this capacity will be increased to 8,000MT a month after completion
of 2nd phase construction in 2006. |
