Leveler Line at Hanwa Logistics Osaka will be rebuild and start working in June 2007.
This rebuilding of hot rolled leveler line is aimed to raise its current maximum cutting thickness of 6.0mm to 12.0mm.
This rebuilding will enable Hanwa Logistics Osaka to process thicker plates by itself without subcontracting and ,thus, subcontracting and drayage cost will be reduced.
And moreover, Hanwa will be able to comply with urgent and small lot demand.
Currently this line processes about 8,000 ton a month. After completion of this rebuilding Hanwa anticipates its processing quantity to increase up to 10,000 ton a month.
