On September 1, 2006 Hanwa Thailand Co., Ltd. celebrated its 30th anniversary at Grand Hyatt Erawan in Bangkok.Hanwa’s president, Mr. Shuji Kita, and other many distinguished guests attended the ceremony this night.
Hanwa Thailand Co., Ltd. was first opened in February 1972 as Bangkok representative office and then established as Hanwa’s overseas subsidiary company on September 1st, 1976.
In late 1980s Thailand was the most attractive country for setting up operations overseas. However all those enterprises in the country suffered from devaluation of Baht caused by adopting floating foreign exchange system in 1997 and economic slowdown is anticipated in 2006 in Thailand, Hanwa Thailand will dedicate its efforts to overcome various issues with full use of its experience and flexible organization. |
