On November 26th, 2007 the Ministry of the Environment has released through its HP regarding “2006’s Investigation for Low cost and low environmental burden for the soil contamination investigation measure technologies and establishment of cleaning technologies for soil contamination by dioxin and its class”. This program was organized by the Ministry of the Environment inviting public participation to perform a comprehensive evaluation of the investigation measures for contaminated soil and the cleaning technologies for such contaminated soil by dioxin and its class with low cost and low environmental burden through verification tests.
Hanwa has joined this program with Waseda Environmental Institute, Okumura Corporation, Mitsubishi Materials Techno Corporation and Miyoshi Oil & Fat Co., Ltd.
