Recycling of Aluminum Materials
Accelerate a circular society
The recycling of aluminum cans is considered the model for
recycling, and the recycling rate in Japan is 98%. We have been
involved in this field for a long time, and we are among the top
in Japan for the volume of scrap aluminum handled.
We collect used aluminum cans, remove foreign materials
and matter, and supply remelt scrap ingots to rolled aluminum
manufacturers after having melted down the metal and adjusted
the constituents. They are then used again as aluminum cans.
By returning the raw material from cans and other aluminum
to the cycle in a reusable state, we are contributing to
achieving a sustainable society.

Column
Along with the “can to can” business of taking used aluminum
cans and recycling them into aluminum cans again, we are also
involved in the “sash to sash” business of recycling aluminum
window sashes.
Sorting and cleaning aluminum sashes, with resins,
metals, and other waste materials attached, takes more work
than aluminum cans to bring to a recyclable state. However,
much sash waste is generated, and we were early in becoming
involved with the business of recycling them.
