A Ferroalloy Plant Operated with Only Hydroelectric Power
Achieve a society based on renewable energy
Global partnership
OM Holdings is a manufacturer of ferrosilicon and manganese
alloys that we invest in. At its ferroalloy plant in Malaysia,
all electricity used in the manufacturing process is clean
hydroelectric power.
We wish to achieve a society based on renewable energy,
and we are moving forward with initiatives in cooperation with
investees.

Column
Tsinghan Holding Group, which we invest in, is a top vendor of
stainless steel globally. In expanding its production facility
in Indonesia, it built its own ways to procure
electricity—solar, wind, and even hydro—as a step in shifting
to clean energy.
Its policy is to contribute to building a carbon-neutral
society by establishing a structure of producing materials for
EV batteries using clean energy.
