Our Group is engaged in the business of reusing steel products. There are many types of steel products. With steel sheet piles, used at infrastructure and architecture construction sites, and H-beams, used for the structure and foundation pits of buildings, we sell them new and also collect, clean, and reuse the used steel products. By reusing steel products many times, we can supply low-cost steel products to users and contribute to reducing the carbon dioxide that would be emitted in producing new steel products.

At construction sites along the Sanriku Coast, which was
damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake, many steel sheet
piles and H-beams were used temporarily as retaining walls.
The Hanwa Group delivered the required steel sheet piles
and other products, then collected, cleaned, and straightened
them after the construction was complete. Then, we supplied
them as low-cost used steel products for reuse.
